Our client seeks a meticulous Logistics Analyst to join their dynamic team in Port Elizabeth, with the flexibility of hybrid work. This role is instrumental in analyzing logistics data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to optimize supply chain operations. You will work with complex datasets to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across transportation and warehousing. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in data interpretation and reporting, contributing to strategic decision-making within a collaborative office and remote environment.
Your insights will directly impact the effectiveness and profitability of our logistics network.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret logistics and supply chain data to identify performance metrics and trends.
- Develop reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the logistics network.
- Support the development and implementation of new logistics strategies and processes.
- Collaborate with operations teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve data accuracy.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging logistics technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing office and remote tasks.
