About the Role
Our client is seeking a driven Continuous Improvement Specialist to remotely enhance operational processes for their business units, including those in the Upington area. This role is dedicated to fostering a culture of ongoing improvement by identifying, analyzing, and implementing enhancements across various business functions. You will utilize methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to streamline operations, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and analytical professional to drive significant positive change in a remote-first capacity, contributing to the strategic goals of the organization across the Northern Cape and beyond.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency gains.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
- Conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, and data-driven problem-solving.
- Train and mentor staff on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, or operations management.
- Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and other CI methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
- Proficiency in process analysis tools and data visualization software.
