Corporate Governance Specialist

You will be responsible for advising on board matters, shareholder relations, regulatory compliance, and the implementation of best governance practices.

• Advise the Board of Directors and senior management on corporate governance best practices and compliance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain corporate governance policies and frameworks.

• Manage board and committee meeting logistics, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
• Oversee shareholder communications and annual general meeting processes.
• Conduct periodic reviews of governance structures and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and regulatory changes in corporate governance.

• Relevant degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate governance, company secretarial, or legal roles.
• Strong understanding of South African corporate law and governance principles.
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements for listed or regulated entities.
