About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Remote Insurance Product Manager to lead the development and strategy of innovative insurance products. This role is critical for identifying market opportunities, defining product roadmaps, and guiding cross-functional teams to launch successful offerings that meet customer needs and drive business growth. Operating entirely remotely, you will leverage your expertise to shape the future of insurance products from anywhere.
This is a strategic position for a product leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and digitally-focused environment, contributing significantly to our client's market position within Gauteng and beyond.
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new and existing insurance products.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify opportunities.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and user stories for design and development teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage product launches, including go-to-market strategies and internal training.
- Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate to drive continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven ability to develop and launch successful products from concept to market.
- Strong understanding of the insurance landscape, including various product types and regulations.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in an agile development environment and managing remote teams.
