Remote Inventory Control Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records for their operations supporting Bloemfontein. In this fully remote role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the integrity of stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing procedures to minimize discrepancies and stock-outs. This position requires a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of inventory management principles, capable of working independently and remotely to support the broader logistics team.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, movements, and stock adjustments using inventory management software.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supply.
• Generate inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.

• Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, best practices, and control techniques.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and analysis.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, especially for remote work.
