Aviation Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Aviation Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join their remote-first operations. This role is critical for ensuring that all company operations, products, and procedures fully adhere to the complex and ever-evolving landscape of national and international aviation regulations. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, interpreting their impact, and implementing necessary adjustments across the organization.

• Monitor and interpret aviation regulations from authorities such as the SACAA, EASA, and FAA, assessing their impact on company operations.
• Develop and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to all applicable aviation laws.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports to regulatory agencies.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors during compliance reviews and inspections.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on regulatory requirements and compliance best practices in a remote setting .

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Law, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation regulatory compliance, safety management, or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of South African aviation regulations (SACAA) and an understanding of international standards (EASA, FAA).
• Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Strong analytical, research, and report‑writing skills.
