Senior Project Manager - Operations

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a focus on operational excellence to manage key projects for their Port Elizabeth
-based operations, with the flexibility of a remote work arrangement. You will be responsible for enhancing operational efficiency, implementing process improvements, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of operational workflows, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to drive change effectively within a distributed team. You will be instrumental in optimizing performance and ensuring the successful execution of projects that directly impact business outcomes.

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of operational improvement projects from initiation to closure.
• Analyze existing operational processes to identify areas for enhancement and efficiency gains.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals in a remote setting.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on outcomes to senior management.
• Implement and manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Project Management , with a strong emphasis on operations or process improvement.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and driving operational efficiency.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, adept at virtual team leadership.
• Proficiency in project management tools and experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.
