About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and analytical Operations Analyst to join their team based in Randburg . This role is crucial for supporting operational efficiency and strategic decision-making through data analysis and process evaluation. You will work closely with various departments to identify performance gaps, develop insights, and recommend improvements. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in analytical techniques and a desire to drive operational excellence within a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and productivity.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to track key operational metrics (KPIs).
- Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and propose data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand operational challenges and implement recommended changes.
- Assist in the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) .
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in an operations analysis or industrial engineering support role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, and potentially Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
