Crossing Hurdles is acting as a referral partner for Mercor, a company collaborating with leading AI research labs to build and train cutting‑edge AI models.

Base Pay Range

$80.00/hr – $120.00/hr

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

Contribute tax expertise to build high‑quality data for training and evaluating advanced language models
Write and review tax rubrics, analyze legal tax concepts, and provide feedback on model outputs
Collaborate directly with AI researchers via private Slack channels
Maintain confidentiality, data quality, and rigorous compliance with project documentation standards

Required Qualifications

JD/LLM from a top university
CPA certification
Demonstrated tax specialization and professional experience in U.S. tax law
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience in rubric writing and quality assurance for legal or tax content
Exceptional attention to detail and analytic ability
