As the Director of Product Management, you will champion the strategy, development, and delivery of next-generation enterprise products for Capital One Software. You will be building high-scale, mission-critical business platforms designed to solve the complex data, cloud, and operational challenges faced by today’s modern enterprise financial institutions.

You thrive at the intersection of business strategy and deep technical execution. Whether your background is rooted in elite management consulting with a proven track record of bringing platforms to life, or in enterprise B2B product management navigating 0 to 1 business, or scaling a business, you are an expert at dealing with ambiguity and coming up with ideas, and turning them into delightful experiences that solve a problem for customers.

In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:

• Product:
  Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products; lead product level data modeling/analytics
• Execution:
  Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
• Partnership:
  Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability
• Strategic; analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing & credit risk management
• Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity:
  They should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business
