About Our Client:
Addison Group is hiring a Proposal Coordinator for our client, an education-focused organization that supports public sector clients with large-scale assessment and related programs. This role will support a busy proposals team responsible for coordinating responses to competitive RFPs and other solicitations.
Job Description:
The Proposal Coordinator will help manage the proposal process from initial planning through final submission. This position is ideal for someone with strong project coordination skills who can manage multiple deadlines, collaborate across teams and ensure proposals are accurate, compliant and submitted on time.
The position is primarily remote, with occasional visits to the Arlington, VA office required for proposal submission activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate proposal schedules, timelines and deliverables from kickoff through submission.
- Review RFP requirements and help ensure proposal responses meet all stated guidelines.
- Build and maintain compliance matrices, production schedules and proposal outlines.
- Coordinate with technical, business and pricing teams to gather required information and materials.
- Assign and track proposal-related tasks across contributors and follow up on outstanding items.
- Monitor deadlines, identify potential roadblocks and help develop solutions to keep submissions on schedule.
- Assist with drafting and editing proposal content as needed.
- Perform detailed quality control reviews to ensure proposals are complete, accurate and compliant.
- Coordinate final proposal production and submission.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, Social Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting proposals, RFPs, bids or similar business development processes.
- Experience with government, education, consulting, nonprofit or public sector organizations preferred.
- Familiarity with solicitation and procurement platforms such as Gov Win, Grants.gov or similar systems.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving, research and project coordination skills.
- Ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours when needed to meet critical proposal deadlines.

Additional Details:
- Fully remote position with occasional visits to Arlington, VA.
- Contract-to-hire opportunity with no predetermined contract end date.
- Ideal start date:
October 26. - Standard schedule is 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
- Overtime may be available with supervisor approval.
- Interview process includes a phone interview followed by two virtual interviews.
