Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Our client is looking for a highly experienced and principled Senior Aviation Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to all relevant aviation regulations and industry standards on a remote basis. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive compliance programs, conducting internal audits, and advising management on regulatory requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of aviation law, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses exceptional analytical and communication skills to navigate the complexities of aviation compliance and foster a strong culture of safety and integrity across the organization, regardless of geographical location.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance programs aligned with aviation regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Investigate compliance breaches, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide expert guidance and training to staff on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities to ensure successful inspections and approvals.
- Stay current with all changes in aviation legislation and industry standards globally.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in aviation compliance , regulatory affairs, or safety management.
- Extensive knowledge of national and international aviation regulations (e.g., SACAA, EASA, FAA).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation abilities, suitable for remote communication.
