E-commerce Operations Specialist; Shopify and Amazon

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Specialist (Shopify and Amazon) to manage and optimize our online sales channels, with a primary focus on Shopify and Amazon. This role will maintain product catalogs, manage inventory, troubleshoot listing issues, support marketplace growth, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of our e-commerce business. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing both Shopify and Amazon Seller Central and can confidently work independently with minimal supervision.

This operational role requires strong technical knowledge of e-commerce platforms, inventory management, and catalog maintenance.

• Flexible. Candidates should be available for occasional overlap with Arizona business hours for meetings and real-time collaboration.

• Manage and maintain product listings within Shopify, ensuring accuracy across product descriptions, pricing, inventory, collections, and images
• Perform bulk product uploads, imports, exports, and inventory updates using Shopify tools and FTP processes
• Monitor and maintain Amazon Seller Central listings, inventory levels, account health, and catalog accuracy
• Create, update, and optimize product listings across additional marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, and eBay
• Troubleshoot listing errors, inventory discrepancies, suppressed listings, and catalog issues across all platforms
• Coordinate inventory updates and synchronization between Shopify and marketplace channels
• Upload, update, and replace product images, graphics, and digital assets while maintaining brand consistency
• Support backend SEO initiatives, product optimization, and marketplace visibility improvements
• Generate reports and assist with inventory tracking, product audits, and catalog maintenance
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements to e-commerce workflows
• Provide general administrative support related to e-commerce operations

• Hands-on experience with both Shopify and Amazon
• Proven experience with Shopify back-end operations

• Experience managing Amazon FBA inventory and shipment workflows
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing Shopify stores
• Direct experience working within Amazon Seller Central
  , including inventory management, catalog maintenance, listing management, and account monitoring
• Experience managing products across multiple e-commerce channels such as Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and/or eBay
• Strong understanding of inventory management and product catalog operations
• Experience with bulk uploads, imports, exports, and FTP-based file management
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy across large product catalogs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for inventory and product management
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with e-commerce SEO, digital marketing, or marketplace optimization is highly preferred

• Familiarity with Amazon listing optimization and account health management
• Experience with product feed management and inventory synchronization tools
