Sr Corporate Development Associate

We work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to ensure smooth, disciplined execution of strategic business objectives. Specifically, you will help lead Uber's M&A efforts and serve as the primary interface to many internal and external leaders. You will partner with business leaders on some of the most interesting and high impact initiatives  are looking for someone who can be a strategic thought-partner for the business, but also get into the weeds on specific issues.

You will serve as a key Uber Corporate Development team member, supporting our inorganic efforts across all business lines globally. You will join a dynamic team that has a major impact on the direction of the company as well as senior leadership!

• Develop Uber's M&A and investments strategy and identify transaction opportunities in connection with business leadership across Mobility, AV, Delivery, and Freight.
• Support the entirety of the M&A process including strategy, sourcing, diligence, negotiation, and execution.
• Shape business cases for potential acquisitions through in-depth financial analysis, company valuations, and detailed synergy assessments that maximize returns and strategic alignment.
• Engage with leadership teams by preparing and presenting compelling reviews, highlighting key milestones, opportunities, and obstacles to keep our stakeholders informed and ready to act.
• Prepare and give business reviews to Uber's executive leadership team regarding progress and roadblocks.

• 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development or relevant experience.

• Strong analytical skills with ability to combine business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to support and lead complex, multi-faceted deals.
• The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously in an exciting, fast-paced environment, collaborating as a team to stay in sync and working independently to get the job done.
• Strong interpersonal skills, highly collaborative with business leaders and cross-functional partners, and a strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others.
• Self-motivation with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving, and driving action.
• Excellent business judgment and great communication skills.
• Embody the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and accountability.

For New York City, NY-based roles:
The base salary range for this role is USD $142,000 per year - USD $158,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles:
The base salary range for this role is USD $142,000 per year - USD $158,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
