Could you help us make coffee pod recycling work better across the UK?
Podback’s vision “A world where every coffee pod enjoyed is recycled.” We’re looking for an experienced Recycling Manager to help us deliver that vision.
This is a varied and influential role, combining partnership management, operational performance, recycling expertise and project coordination.
You’ll manage relationships with key retail collection partners, including Morrisons, Asda and Costa, ensuring programmes operate effectively, issues are resolved quickly and opportunities for improvement are identified.
You’ll also play a role in developing Podback’s future collection network, supporting our ambition to expand coffee pod recycling through kerbside collections across the UK. This will involve working with retailers, local authorities, Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs), waste management companies and other industry partners.
We’re looking for someone who has:- 5+ years’ experience in recycling, waste or resource management
- Experience managing key customer, client or partner relationships
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical, reporting and project coordination skills
- Confidence discussing operational and contractual matters with senior stakeholders
- An understanding of UK recycling infrastructure and local authority collection systems
- A proactive, self-motivated and problem-solving approach
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel throughout the UK
We’re particularly interested in people who are collaborative, customer-focused and passionate about making recycling work better.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
