Senior Product Manager - SaaS Platform

Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing SaaS company headquartered in the beautiful region of Stellenbosch , is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of their flagship platform. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within South Africa while contributing to a product used globally. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, roadmap, and feature prioritization, working closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams.

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SaaS platform.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify user needs and market opportunities.
• Translate product strategy into detailed product requirements and user stories.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
• Work with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
• Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on the product to drive continuous improvement.
• Act as the subject matter expert for the SaaS platform, both internally and externally.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on SaaS products.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products.
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience conducting user research and market analysis.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
