Senior Project Manager - Business Process Improvement

Our client, a well-established financial services institution, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in Randburg, Gauteng, ZA . This role focuses on driving significant business process improvements across various departments. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, designing and implementing optimized processes, and managing the change initiatives required to achieve them. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical aptitude, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.

• Identify, analyze, and document current business processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Design and implement optimized business processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage change initiatives, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of implemented process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of new processes.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on business process improvement and change management.
• Proven experience in leading complex process re-engineering projects within the financial services sector.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio) and project management software.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration in Randburg, Gauteng, ZA with remote work flexibility.
