Management Consultant - Innovation & Venture Development

Our client, a forward-thinking management consultancy, is actively seeking a Management Consultant to join their Innovation and New Venture Development practice. This role is based in Mahikeng, North West
, with a flexible Hybrid work arrangement allowing for both office-based collaboration and remote work. You will be instrumental in helping clients identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, develop innovative business models, and launch successful new ventures. The ideal candidate possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit, strategic thinking capabilities, and experience in product development and market entry strategies. You will work with diverse clients, from startups to established corporations, to foster innovation and drive sustainable growth through new business creation.

This role requires a dynamic individual passionate about ideation and bringing novel concepts to market.

• Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitive landscaping to identify innovation opportunities.
• Develop business cases, financial projections, and strategic roadmaps for new ventures.
• Facilitate innovation workshops, design thinking sessions, and ideation sprints.
• Advise clients on business model design, validation, and pivot strategies.
• Support the development and launch of new products, services, and business lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and finance, to bring new ventures to life.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies for new venture initiatives.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, market disruptors, and innovative business practices.
• Provide strategic guidance to client leadership throughout the innovation lifecycle.

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting, venture capital, corporate innovation, or startup environments.
• Proven track record in developing and launching new products or businesses.
• Strong understanding of innovation frameworks, design thinking, and lean startup methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience in financial modeling and business plan development.
