Senior Sports Partnership Manager

You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with corporations, sports organizations, media outlets, and other key stakeholders.

• Manage and nurture existing partner relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Develop and execute activation plans for partnership programs to maximize value and return on investment.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and potential collaborators.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, legal) to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnership initiatives.
• Track and report on the performance of partnerships, including KPIs and financial contributions.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
• Stay informed about the competitive landscape and best practices in sports partnerships and sponsorship.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
• An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or sponsorship sales, preferably within the sports industry.
• Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the sports industry, including market dynamics, sponsorship trends, and fan engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Proficiency in CRM software and project management tools.
• Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Based in or willing to commute to Randburg for key in-office meetings and collaboration.
