Position: Chief of Staff for AI Operations
Drive Cohere's AI initiatives forward as Chief of Staff, collaborating with leaders and teams to ensure seamless operations and successful product launches in a dynamic remote work culture.

Cohere is seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to support the Chief AI Officer in orchestrating the AI organization’s workflow across functions. This role demands a background in AI/ML operations, with a focus on project management, strategic planning, and effective communication. You'll coordinate major programs, foster cross-functional relationships, and lead critical special projects to ensure successful execution of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage annual and quarterly planning cycles

• Bridge connections between Chief AI Officer’s org and other teams

• Drive budget and headcount planning while ensuring alignment

• Facilitate high-quality decision-making and prioritize urgent tasks

• Manage operational rhythm: meetings, priorities, and deliverables

Requirements:

• 12+ years operating experience in AI/ML organizations

• Proven ability in business operations and program management

• Strong understanding of AI model/product development

• Excellent communication and soft power skills

• Capacity to manage complex projects and ambiguity
