Senior Division Order Analyst

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Division Order Analyst are creating and maintaining ownership decks, processing ownership transfers, and handling owner inquiries and discrepancies.

• Must have 7-10 years of experience in onshore oil and gas land administration
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and standard land and legal practices as it relates to the accurate payment of revenues
• Proficiency in MS Office is required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, whether interfacing with staff or management
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with finance, accounting, and operational teams.
• Ideal candidate will possess an attention to detail, and strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient, managing a full workload with minimal supervision
• Ability to foster teamwork in a dynamic fast paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Successful candidate will be able to meet company standard background check specific to individual role prior to employment
• Successful candidate will be subject to Company Drug & Alcohol Program

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in Enertia software preferred

Create and maintain revenue (REV) and joint interest billing (JIB) basis decks in Enertia

• Process ownership transfers and handle owner inquiries and discrepancies
• Analyze leases, contracts and title opinions in order to calculate interests in operated and non-operated wells
• Analyze prior period adjustments (PPAs) resulting from ownership and deck changes and coordinate their processing with the Revenue accounting group
• Research files, analyze wills and deeds to solve complicated estate, transfer, and ownership discrepancies
• Determine ownership through laws of descent and distribution/intestate succession when appropriate
• Respond to owner inquiries and advise of requirements to allow for proper payment of their interest
• Initiate pay code changes and ownership transfers of intermediate to advanced complexity within Enertia
• Assist with escheat due diligence
• Assist in ownership due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures
• Assist in the resolution of working and royalty owner inquiries by interacting with the Revenue and JIB accounting groups
• Work with others as part of a team to ensure efficient operations and enhanced productivity
