This Program Project Specialist 2 position in the Arizona Department of Transportation's Equipment Services Administration provides direct financial support for fleet management, including vehicle lease payments, tow invoices, fuel purchases, and fleet auctions. The role manages complex financial projects and processes approximately $13.5 million in monthly expenses while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Keyqualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in budget, contracts, purchasing, and/or accounting or closely related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace
- Knowledge of State procurement code, purchasing procedures, and budget processes
- Advanced problem-solving, research, and complex analysis skills
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
