Management Consultant - Business Process Optimization

Our client, a distinguished management consultancy firm, is looking for a talented Management Consultant specializing in Business Process Optimization to join their team in Tembisa, Gauteng . This role involves analyzing existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and designing streamlined solutions to enhance operational performance and cost-effectiveness for our diverse clientele. While the role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a blend of remote work and in-office collaboration, a strong commitment to client site visits is expected.

• Conduct in-depth analysis of current business operations and workflows to pinpoint bottlenecks and areas for enhancement.
• Design and implement optimized business processes using lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop detailed process maps, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
• Measure and report on the impact of process improvements, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client staff on new process implementation.
• Identify and recommend appropriate technologies to support process automation and efficiency.
• Contribute to proposal development and client relationship management.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints throughout the engagement.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting or a similar role focused on business process improvement.
• Demonstrated expertise in process analysis, modeling (e.g., BPMN), and re-engineering.
• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Experience with change management principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with on-site client engagement.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is an advantage.
