They are seeking a Business Analyst to join the team on an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend. You will be hybrid working being located at one of the above locations 2 days a week with the remainder of time working from home. This position is working Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.

My client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a high-profile Finance Transformation Programme. You'll play a key role in improving finance planning, forecasting and management reporting capabilities through process improvement, modern planning technologies and AI-enabled solutions.

Working within a cross-functional team, you'll help define future-state processes, customer journeys, reporting requirements and data capabilities while engaging with senior stakeholders across the business.

• Lead discovery, analysis and design activities across finance transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, finance teams, product owners, architects and SMEs.
• Map current and future state processes to improve efficiency, controls and user experience.
• Translate business requirements into customer journeys, features and user stories.
• Define requirements for planning, reporting and management information solutions.
• Work with engineering and data teams to shape target operating models and data processes.
• Support delivery from requirements through testing and implementation.
• Produce high-quality business documentation and process maps.
• Drive alignment across transformation work streams.

• Experience delivering finance transformation, business transformation or change programmes.
• Strong understanding of planning, forecasting, budgeting and management reporting processes.
• Experience gathering and documenting complex business requirements.
• Strong business analysis and customer journey mapping skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead requirements activities independently.
• Experience working in agile environments with product, engineering and testing teams.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Financial planning and forecasting solutions

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Finance-related degree
