Senior Business Analyst - Digital Transformation

About the Role  Our client, a forward-thinking financial institution based in Kimberley , is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive their digital transformation initiatives. This role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, focusing on enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency through digital channels. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing complex business processes, and collaborating with IT teams to design and implement innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities   Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for digital banking platforms and related initiatives.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business units, product management, and IT development teams.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and gain consensus.
Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement through digital solutions.
Support the development, testing, and deployment of new digital features and products.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-users.
Manage project scope and changes effectively.
Stay abreast of industry trends in digital transformation and fintech.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices.
Requirements   Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on digital transformation projects.
Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, and system analysis.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and associated tools (e.g., Jira).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with in the financial services industry is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, independent environment.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
Based in South Africa and able to work remotely.
