Our Employee Benefits (EB) Consulting Practice offers excellent retirement, health, compensation, and investment consulting services to our clients. The Health & Group Benefits Consultants are an integral part of the overall client management and client relationship function in Milliman’s Employee Benefits Consulting practice. The successful candidate will have at least ten years of Health & Welfare consulting experience, with hand-on experience in the areas of leave management, disability insurance, and group life insurance.

Experience with other product lines is a plus. This full-time, remote position will be part of a team supporting the delivery of consulting projects as well as maintaining existing and growing new client relationships. The position serves a variety of clients, including corporate, non-profit, and government organizations. The range of services includes vendor selection, vendor management, program implementation, benefit design, compliance, and strategy.

There is also a marketing component to the job, including lead generation and participation in proposal writing and finalist presentations.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will partner with consultants and actuaries to manage large, complex client relationships and projects for Health & Group Benefits clients. You will provide senior-level consulting support across areas such as plan design, compliance, benefit strategy, and vendor selection and management. Responsibilities include leading vendor search and marketing processes for leave, disability, and group life programs, supporting implementation efforts following vendor selection, and helping identify opportunities to expand consulting services.

You will also build strong relationships with clients, internal colleagues, and carrier and vendor partners while ensuring project activity, results, and peer review compliance are tracked in accordance with established protocols.
