Aboutthe Role /
What We Are Looking For
Every departure has a right price, and your job is to find it. This role owns the pricing framework, rules, and default prices for new and established trips, while taking our new dynamic pricing engine live and running it from there. You will build systematic test-and-learn pricing tactics, make promotions earn their keep with clear budgeting and discount authority, and protect margins by supporting trip costing and cost control.
You’ll read the rate of sale and competitor moves, know when to protect margin and when to chase volume, and use price to hit occupancy targets. You’ll also feed into target rates for host negotiations, so trips are set up to win from day one. Operating as a key partner across Expansion, Operations, Product, Data, Marketing, and Finance, you'll turn booking curves and competitor insights into clear trading calls.
Must-Haves- Proven experience in pricing or revenue management, ideally running date- or departure-based pricing in travel, hospitality, or another capacity-constrained business (or a strong background in commercial strategy, commercial finance, or a fast-growing scale-up).
- Fluent in forecasts, booking curves, and margin analysis.
- Strong in Excel / Google Sheets and unfazed by messy data.
- Commercially sharp, curious, and test-and-learn by instinct.
- Ability to explain pricing calls simply and bring people with you.
- Background in fast-growing scale-up environments
- Experience with Hex, SQL, or BI tools.
- Understanding of multi-currency pricing for different source markets.
- Background in fast-growing scale-up environments.
- Direct experience launching or managing dynamic pricing engines.
- Passion for adventure travel.
