Remote Procurement Analyst

Our client is looking for a data-driven and analytical Remote Procurement Analyst to join their global procurement team, working from anywhere in South Africa . This role is focused on providing critical insights into spending patterns, supplier performance, and market trends to support strategic sourcing decisions. You will be responsible for data collection, analysis, reporting, and contributing to the development of procurement strategies that drive efficiency and cost savings.

This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on the company's procurement operations. You will collaborate closely with procurement managers and stakeholders across different regions.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data, including spend, supplier performance, and market intelligence.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key procurement KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations and market insights.
• Assist in supplier relationship management through performance tracking and data analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization within the procurement function.
• Prepare presentations and summaries of findings for management and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, analytics, or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and systems is a plus.
