PMO governance expertise meets remote work at ATS Industrial Automation, supporting global teams through project reviews, audits, reporting, and controlled verification.
The PMO Governance Specialist oversees processes ensuring projects follow organizational standards, policies, and objectives. Working independently from Finance and Project Execution, this role verifies Estimate to and at Complete correctness. The position supports governance across globally distributed automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain governance policies, procedures, templates, and document controls
- Conduct monthly project reviews and regular field audits
- Validate governance criteria, scope, budget, and timeline changes
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and independent project risk assessments
- Improve PMO processes, tools, training, and data reporting
- Post-secondary education in project management, business, engineering, or related studies
- At least five years in project controls, management, or governance
- Understanding of governance frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with project management software and strong analytical skills
- Ability to travel internationally 10% and obtain PMP certification within twelve months
