Our client, a leading IT consultancy firm, is seeking a sharp and analytical Junior Business Analyst to join their team in Pretoria, Gauteng . • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders using various techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys).
• Translate business needs into clear and concise functional and non-functional specifications.
• Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories to illustrate system functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Assist in the testing and validation of developed solutions to ensure they meet business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support the identification of areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Prepare reports and presentations on project findings and recommendations.
• Maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to requirement management and traceability.

• A recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Business Analysis tools and techniques is a plus (e.g., UML, BPMN).
• Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and methodologies (e.g., Agile).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Must be legally authorized to work in South Africa and comfortable with a fully remote arrangement, with a connection to the Pretoria region considered beneficial for occasional team gatherings if applicable.
