Remote E-commerce Fulfillment Specialist

Our client, a rapidly expanding online retailer, is seeking a highly organized and efficient Remote E-commerce Fulfillment Specialist to manage the intricacies of their online order processing and fulfillment operations. This fully remote role requires a proactive individual who can ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to meet customer expectations and service level agreements. The specialist will be responsible for overseeing the entire order lifecycle from placement to delivery, coordinating with various internal teams and external partners to guarantee a seamless customer experience.

This is a crucial role within the Logistics & Warehousing sector, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency for a digital-first business.

• Manage the end-to-end e-commerce order fulfillment process remotely.
• Monitor order queues and ensure timely processing and dispatch of orders.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams (where applicable) to ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of goods.
• Manage shipping carrier relationships, select optimal shipping methods, and generate shipping labels.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve any delivery issues or delays.
• Handle customer inquiries related to order status, shipping, and returns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Analyze fulfillment performance metrics and identify areas for process improvement.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards for packaging and presentation.
• Manage return logistics and processing, ensuring timely refunds or exchanges.
• Maintain accurate order and shipping data within the company's e-commerce and WMS platforms.

• A Matric certificate or equivalent; a qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in e-commerce fulfillment, order processing, or warehouse operations, with a focus on online retail.
• Proven ability to manage logistics processes in a remote or distributed team environment.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, order management systems (OMS), and shipping software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving online retail landscape.
