Altex Soft is a technology consulting partner for the travel and hospitality industry. We build custom software for online travel agencies, travel management solution providers, and travel tech startups, and we also run a broad portfolio of projects in other domains. More than 100 US-based and 200 worldwide businesses have picked us as their technology partner.
We are growing our analysis and product expert community and are looking for a Product Manager / Senior Business Analyst with a true product mindset. You will accompany an engagement from start to finish: leading early discovery and pre-sales conversations, shaping the solution, preparing prototypes that help us win the opportunity, and then staying with it through implementation or consulting delivery.
Together with clients you will validate product hypotheses and build engagements around measurable business outcomes. AI is part of how we work every day, and we expect the same from you. Experience in the travel industry is a strong advantage, though it is not a hard requirement.

- Solid track record in discovery and pre-sales: running workshops, preparing proposals, and communicating confidently with senior and C-level stakeholders
- Product mindset: shaping hypotheses, scoping MVPs, prioritizing roadmaps and backlogs, and defining and tracking success metrics
- Ability to capture and document business, functional, and integration requirements clearly
- Skill in quickly turning ideas into prototypes, including with the help of AI tools
- Experience using AI assistants (e.g., Cursor, Git Hub Copilot, or similar) in day-to-day tasks
- Familiarity with spec-driven development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to guide clients toward well-reasoned decisions
- English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- Travel domain expertise (a significant advantage): hands-on experience with airlines, hospitality, OTAs, TMCs, or travel fintech
- Understanding of travel technology: distribution (GDS, NDC), booking flows, and API-based integrations
- Exposure to several travel verticals and knowledge of IATA / NDC standards
- Practical work with Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport, or hospitality platforms
- Background in consulting: assessments, roadmap definition, advisory work
- Familiarity with outcome-based or value-based engagement models
- Experience building AI-powered features or integrating LLMs into products
- Data analysis and BI skills; understanding of travel unit economics and pricing
- Public expert presence, such as conference talks or published articles
- Product management certifications
- Lead discovery and pre-sales activities as a domain expert: run workshops, shape solution visions, and prepare proposals
- Create prototypes and proofs of concept to validate ideas and strengthen our position in competitive deals
- Carry won engagements forward into implementation or consulting, taking ownership of the outcomes delivered to the client
- Formulate hypotheses, define MVP scope, prioritize roadmaps, and measure the results
- Document business, functional, and integration requirements
- Promote AI-first ways of working and actively contribute to Altex Soft's expert community
