Senior SMB Client Onboarding Partner

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Small Business Client Onboarding Partner to lead new clients through a seamless integration process into our Small Business Services. This role is vital in creating exceptional first impressions and ensuring a fast, consistent, and strategic client experience. As a Senior Small Business Client Onboarding Partner, you will guide our clients through converting their bookkeeping and payroll services to new systems while collaborating with internal teams to ensure they are prepared for long-term success.
The Senior Small Business Client Onboarding Partner will serve as a trusted advisor, identifying opportunities to maximize client workflows and ensuring compliance with financial and payroll regulations.

• Act as the primary point of contact for new clients during the onboarding process.
• Develop and execute tailored onboarding plans that align with client needs and business goals.
• Guide clients through setup on accounting, payroll, and virtual platforms, including assisting with state  and compliance requirements.
• Review and optimize historical client data, including bookkeeping, payroll records, tax filings, and financial statements.
• Identify and address discrepancies by preparing adjustments, amendments, or corrective filings as needed.
• Proactively communicate with clients via email, text, and phone to gather necessary documents and ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks.
• Partner with internal teams, including sales and account management, to ensure a smooth handoff to ongoing services.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure clients meet compliance standards and are set up for success with recurring services.
• Document and share insights on onboarding trends and client needs to refine processes and enhance the overall client experience.

Education:

• Bachelors

Work Experience:

• Ability to anticipate customer needs and match them with appropriate products and services
• 1 year Client onboarding experience
• Comfort with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Knowledge or familiarity with bookkeeping, payroll, or accounting
• 5 years minimum related work experience
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will work remotely with clients across the country

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
