Corporate Strategy
The Owner role at Compound Creative Holdings is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing strategic direction and long-term value creation across a portfolio of Creator Economy assets. On a day-to-day basis, the Owner reviews performance metrics, evaluates investment opportunities, and provides guidance on brand, content, and monetization strategies. This role collaborates with founders, operators, and advisory partners to refine business models, optimize operations, and identify new revenue streams.
The Owner will participate in key decision-making for acquisitions and divestitures, ensure alignment with Compound’s mission, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Regular activities include attending virtual strategy meetings, approving major initiatives, and monitoring risk, governance, and compliance within the portfolio.
- Demonstrated experience in ownership, executive leadership, or founding roles within media, entertainment, technology, or Creator Economy businesses.
- Strong strategic and financial acumen, including familiarity with investment evaluation, portfolio management, and growth-stage business operations.
- Proficiency in developing and guiding brand, content, and audience-growth strategies, ideally across digital platforms and creator-led enterprises.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with artists, entrepreneurs, and partners, with clear, inclusive communication and decision-making skills.
- Comfort operating in a remote, part-time capacity with high accountability, sound judgment, and a track record of ethical, non-discriminatory leadership.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, risk management, and compliance practices relevant to holding companies and media assets.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, communications, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent leadership experience is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience working with or alongside investment firms, agencies, or strategic advisory groups is a plus.
