Senior Energy Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Energy Analyst to join their dynamic team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role involves conducting in-depth research and analysis of energy markets, regulatory landscapes, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making. You will play a key part in developing forecasts, identifying investment opportunities, and assessing risks within the global and local South African energy sector .

• Conduct comprehensive market research and data analysis on renewable energy trends , fossil fuel markets, and energy policy changes.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to forecast energy prices, demand, and supply dynamics.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management regarding energy investments and strategic planning.
• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments impacting the energy industry across various jurisdictions.

• Strong understanding of energy economics , market structures, and regulatory frameworks, particularly within South Africa .
