Plant Manager

We're hiring a Plant Manager in Palmdale to turn messy operational data into the kind of clarity executives actually act on. The appeal is layered — $116,000 - $170,000, a remote rhythm, business ownership, and a Valero Energy crew that backs bold calls.

• Translate Valero Energy goals into quarterly roadmaps the business team can actually ship
• Field the awkward question in the Q  and have the data ready
• Keep the Plant Manager scorecard tied to outcomes, not activity
• Lead pricing analysis and recommend adjustments that protect margins
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts on behalf of Valero Energy
• Frame the tradeoff so a busy executive can choose in sixty seconds
• Catch the unfussy risk in a contract before legal even opens it

• Eagerness to take ownership and run with new responsibilities
• The discipline to document while it's fresh, not after it's forgotten
• Strong rapport-building skills and a genuinely positive presence
• Manager-caliber judgment about when to absorb and when to absorb
• 6+ years that left you with strong instincts and few ilus
• Demonstrated comfort presenting to manager leadership
