About the roleSutton High School is seeking an enthusiastic Care Assistant to support our exceptional after school care provision, Explorers, for Prep School pupils aged 3 to 11. In this role you will help deliver high‑quality care at the end of the school day, supervising children, preparing activities, and ensuring pupils are happy and well cared for at all times.
Responsibilities- Supervise and support children aged 3 to 11 in after school care
- Prepare and facilitate educational and recreational activities
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment
- Ensure pupils are well cared for and ready for departure at closing time
- NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in childcare, care or related field
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a school or childcare setting
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Willingness to undergo child protection checks (DBS, past employers, online searches)
