Infant Toddler Teacher

Qualifications: The required minimum qualifications for the Infant and Toddler Teacher include a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential, and training or equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development.

• Competitive Pay: $19.13 - $22.71 per hour
• 40‑hour week, Monday through Friday

• Experience working with infants and toddlers is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with young children and adults
• Working knowledge of community resources, parenting issues, adult learning styles, and sensitivity to the needs of low‑income families
• Must be able to evacuate infants and toddlers from the building in a timely, efficient manner
• Must be able to assist toddlers in navigating stairs, playground equipment, and changing tables, and to quickly catch up to a fleeing toddler
• Reliable transportation, valid Vermont driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Commitment to a flexible work schedule
• Commitment to working as part of a local team and acceptance of supervision
