As a Business Services Specialist, you will impact the supply and quality of child care in our region by sharing your business expertise. You will help licensed child care providers enhance their business practices and help new child care programs navigate the licensing process and get a strong start. You will impact thousands of children as you support child care providers building stronger businesses.
Qualifications- A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or business (or related field), OR a bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with knowledge of child development
- At least three (3) years of experience in early childhood education program administration.
- Strong interpersonal skills to clearly communicate detailed processes, compliance standards, and provide constructive feedback to child care programs.
- The ability to adapt quickly to changes in state requirements, guidelines, work processes, etc.
- This role will require a current driver’s license, automobile insurance, access to a reliable automobile, and the ability to safely lift and/or transport up to 25 pounds.
4C for Children is a nonprofit agency that was created to help ensure that all children have quality early learning experiences. We are the largest local provider of training and technical assistance for child care providers in the region. More than 100,000 children in our community are impacted every year through our delivery of support and resources to families and child care providers.
As a member of the 4C team, you will receive a competitive benefits package and enjoy a flexible, casual work environment at our Cincinnati location. Our standard work week is 37.5 hours and we work from home on Mondays. During your first year at 4C, you will earn 16 days of PTO, 12 days of sick time, and enjoy 11 paid holidays.
