What You’ll Do
  • Carry a caseload of 12–15 children placed in Bloom foster homes.
  • Collaborate with foster families to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's emotional, physical, and behavioral needs.
  • Advocate fiercely for children—working with schools, courts, doctors, and case managers to make sure their voices are heard and their needs are met.
  • Conduct regular home visits and compliance checks to ensure safety and support.
  • Be part of an on‑call rotation to provide after‑hours assistance and crisis response.
  • Coordinate child placements, supervise documentation and reporting, and participate in team meetings and case planning.
  • Support, guide, and equip foster parents through training and resource development.
Who You Are
  • Passionate about child welfare and trauma‑informed care.
  • Skilled in case management, family systems, and cross‑agency collaboration.
  • Organized, compassionate, and deeply committed to ethical service.
  • Comfortable in the field, confident in crises, and always ready to advocate.
Requirements
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, education, counseling, or a related field.
  • At least two years’ experience in foster care case management preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Georgia Driver’s License.
  • Able to pass a criminal records check, child protective services check, and motor vehicle check.
  • Experience working in GA Shines and GA Score preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a caring and positive attitude and be passionate about helping children and families in the foster care system.
  • Computer efficiency with strong analytical skills and in‑depth knowledge of child welfare best practices.
