A leading UK main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support its growing preconstruction team in Wales. This hybrid role offers the chance to work on major projects valued  £10m to  £70m.

Role Overview
The Senior Planner will develop high quality tender programmes, planning reports, logistics strategies and method statements for preconstruction activities across Wales. You will contribute to bid submissions, support project presentations and ensure all planning outputs are accurate, clear and commercially focused.

Key Responsibilities

Produce tender programmes using Asta Power project

Create planning reports and method statements

Develop logistics plans and construction methodologies

Coordinate with supply chain partners

Support bid presentations and procurement activities

Drive buildability, innovation and value engineering

Maintain a strong customer focused approach
Essential Skills

Preconstruction and onsite planning experience

Strong Asta Power project skills

Ability to interpret drawings and specifications

Knowledge of construction methods including steel, concrete and timber

Experience with NEC and JCT contracts

Understanding of site setup, prelims and temporary works
Desirable Skills

4D planning

Liaison with external graphics teams
