Mechanical Superintendent - Heavy Civil and Industrial

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Base Pay Range: $120,000 – $145,000 per year

Top ENR contractor building a new division in Utah. We seek a skilled Mechanical Project Superintendent to lead large-scale industrial mechanical construction projects in sectors such as mining, power, and OGC.

• Lead and manage field teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure project milestones are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Promote and enforce a safety-first culture (OSHA/MSHA compliance).
• Plan, schedule, and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and address potential overruns.
• Maintain quality standards and resolve on-site challenges.
• Document and report project progress and changes.

• Proven experience in mechanical construction for industrial mechanical and piping projects.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• 7+ years in heavy industrial mechanical construction, 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Education degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications OSHA 30 and MSHA preferred.
• Skills:
  
  strong leadership, problem-solving, familiarity with construction tools, methods, and software (MS Office, Bluebeam).
• Willingness to relocate or work at remote project sites.
