Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quantity Surveyor, based in the South East, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. In this role, the Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost planning, preparation, cost reporting, cost control, application for payments, and management of procurement processes. Additionally, duties will include working on contract administration tasks, assessing risks, analysing variations, and supporting final account settlements.

The candidate will collaborate closely with clients and project teams to ensure budgetary alignment and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
  • Must be a UK resident and have the right to work
  • Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management to ensure effective budget tracking and expenditure monitoring.
  • Strong capabilities in Cost Planning, including budgeting and cost-effective solutions.
  • Experience in preparing detailed Cost Reporting to communicate project financial performance and forecasts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills tailored to infrastructure and construction projects.
  • Knowledge of procurement strategies and contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Accreditation by RICS or similar professional body is advantageous.
  • Experience in the infrastructure or construction sector is preferred.
Renumeration
