Building Surveyor

Position: Building Surveyor (Permanent)
Building Surveyor | Manchester (hybrid) | £50-70K + benefits

An established and growing multi-disciplinary property consultancy is seeking a motivated and ambitious Building Surveyor to join its Manchester office. With a strong national presence and an expanding, diverse workload, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly regarded Building Surveying team delivering commercial, residential, and building safety services across the UK.

You will work within a close-knit regional team while collaborating with colleagues across a wider national network, gaining exposure to a varied and technically engaging portfolio of instructions.

* This position offers exposure to a broad range of professional and project-led services, including:

* Defect diagnosis and condition surveys

* Technical due diligence

* Dilapidations (supporting and progressing towards leading claims)

* Licences to Alter review

* Reinstatement Cost Assessments (in collaboration with cost consultancy professionals)

* Project delivery including design, specification writing, tendering, and contract administration

* Supporting fire safety and building safety remediation projects

You will manage instructions from inception through to completion, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring consistently high technical standards.

About you

We are looking for a candidate who:

* Holds a BSc (or equivalent) in Building Surveying or a related discipline

* Is Chartered (MRICS / MCABE) or actively working towards qualification

* Has demonstrable experience in defect diagnosis

* Has experience supporting project delivery and contract administration

* Communicates clearly and confidently with clients

* Works collaboratively within a team environment

* Is willing to travel in line with project requirements

Experience in fire safety or building safety remediation projects would be advantageous, but is not essential.
