Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

Senior Quantity Surveyor – KierBAM team – Plymouth (Royal Navy site). 3 days on site per week with some remote working. 45 hours per week. No sponsorship available. BPSS security clearance required – check may take up to 8 weeks.

• Manage cost planning and financial control through the project lifecycle
• Prepare detailed estimates and forecast final costs
• Review and negotiate contracts, variations and sub‑contracts
• Collaborate with clients, architects and engineers on a supportive team
• Mentor junior quantity surveyors and share expertise
• Prepare financial reports and cost analyses for stakeholders

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB)
• Strong experience in quantity surveying for construction or infrastructure projects
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to build relationships
• Valid passport from a NATO or MWE member country with 5 years residency in the UK
• Ready to complete BPSS clearance (pre‑employment checks may apply)
