Senior Quantity Surveyor (Fire Protection)

Cockermouth  

£65,000 to £70,000 per annum plus car allowance and bonus

TSR Recruitment are actively working with a Fire Protection contractor based in the Cumbria area who are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Benefits

Basic salary circa £65,000 - £70,000 per annum
Car allowance circa £4k
20 days annual leave plus Christmas shutdown and bank holidays (31 in total)  
8.30 am to 5 pm working hours (30min break)
Friday working from home
Discretionary bonus up to 10% after 12 months employment
3% employee pension contributions

Job Role & Responsibilities:

Commercially manage fire protection work on Cockermouth
Offer value engineering  
Costings off a schedule of rates  
Work closely with the site team to ensure projects are completed within budget
Carry out monthly cost value reports
Attend site meetings
Complete final accounts

Circa £20 mill annual turnover
Excellent client base including tier 1 tier2 and SMEs
Industrial projects working on Sellafield
Knowledge/

Experience:

A proven history working as a Quantity Surveyor
Open to sector experience either main contractor or specialist subcontractor
Preferably degree educated.
Good IT and numerical skills.
Full UK driving license
