Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Government Frameworks

This leading Tier 1 contractor has an immediate need for a Project Quantity Surveyor to work within their Southern region, covering projects in Surrey and Sussex. They currently have a variety of government framework projects in preconstruction that will start on site early in Q2. They will have a requirement for a Project Surveyor to cover given projects in the MOD, MOJ and DfE frameworks they are part of.

Their general projects will be a mix of new build and refurbishments from £20m to £30m in value and as a Project Quantity Surveyor you will work alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor on one of these sites.

Your working week as a Project Quantity Surveyor will be split between the site and remote working with occasional meetings at their offices in Surrey or Kent.

• Solid experience with main contractors and more than 5 years as a Project Quantity Surveyor.
• Good understanding of building under JCT and NEC forms of contract is a great benefit.
• UK Quantity Surveying qualification or being worked towards qualification.
• Right to work in the UK and a reasonable commute to Surrey and Sussex regions.
• Experience with a Tier 1 contractor on Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defence or education projects is desirable but not essential.
