Assistant / Quantity Surveyor £35,000 - £55,000  package Rail / Civil Engineering Contractor Ashford, Kent Looking for autonomy, job stability, remote working and plenty of room for progression? The Role You will take ownership of a high value portfolio on the CP7 Eastern Routes Partnership (ERP) Framework. The framework is to provide a multitude of minor works and civils packages across the country. This project alone will help excel your career, giving you the opportunity to gain broad, all-encompassing exposure as a quantity surveyor, while also extending your experience through involvement in high-profile projects across the wider business Work will include:
Contract administration under the Main Contract and Subcontracts Support the team with management of subcontract payment notices in accordance with statutory and company requirements Assist in the preparation of periodic cost/value reconciliation reports Identify risks and opportunities in the administration of commercial processes upstream and downstream Monitoring of planned vs actual cost across disciplines (Labour, Plant, Material, and Subcontract) Timely issue of contractual notices and quotations under the project First principles estimating About You Quantity Surveying experience within the construction sectors Excellent attitude and willingness to learn and develop is a must NEC contract experience is desirable Rail or Framework experience is desirable Can commute to Ashford, Kent 2 days a week This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop with a rapidly expanding contractor with a busy work bank for a number of years and loads of progression opportunities.
