- Carry out surveys on a variety of building types (including schools, offices, and operational sites) during regular site visits across Nottinghamshire and the wider area.
- Review asbestos registers and contribute to maintaining accurate records to support statutory duties and compliance.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current legislation, guidance, and industry best practice relating to asbestos management.
- Essential:

full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use; willingness to travel to sites across Nottinghamshire. - Desirable:
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. FAAM); BOHS P405 qualification or additional asbestos-related competencies; experience working within Local Government or the wider Public Sector; basic understanding of sustainability in the workplace and the carbon reduction strategy.
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Travel expenses to and from site
- Local Government Defined Benefit Pension Scheme and life assurance of 3 x salary
- BUPA Private Medical Insurance
- 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and additional birthday leave
- Enhanced paternity and maternity pay
