Quantity Surveyor in MEXL

Overview

Quantity Surveyors with a motivated and ambitious attitude are now required by a Director of Quantity Surveying for a construction consultancy in their Kent office.

The Quantity Surveyors will be joining at a crucial time of growth as the business has just been awarded three new projects all within hotel and commercial sectors. The organisation is an internationally recognised consultancy.

The role offers hybrid working.

With great support from the key directors, the new Quantity Surveyors will jump right into a new-build hotel worth £25 M, and a refurbish‑/fit‑out hotel scheme worth £11 M. Additional projects will involve commercial fit‑out schemes across the southeast with values ranging between £1 M and £25 M.

• Background in Quantity Surveying with a consultancy.
• Understanding of JCT (D&B) contracts.
• Completed a BSc / MSc in Quantity Surveying.
• Having strong intentions to become MRICS or already on the APC pathway.
• Able to support client meetings and take full project life cycle.
• Pre- and post-contract knowledge.
• Understanding within the £1 M – £30 M contract values.

• Salary £45,000 – £50,000.
